The Australian Embassy in Manila has kindly donated some money to one of our poorest communities, the Sagay region in Negros. The money has been used to build a fish-drying facility for this coastal village and it provides jobs and income for the people in the village. It also serves as a shelter when typhoons come!
It is our aim at Leavers2Leaders to keep building housing, shelters and business opportunities for the Filipino people. Keep an eye out in the next issue for our next big project – the Education Centre!
